I decided to suck it up and go last night, and was very glad I did, as I saw lots of old friends that I hadn't seen for years. Even if I did end up with the bottom of my spine shooting white-hot spikes all the way up to my neck.

Feelin' fine now, though! "SAY YES TO DRUGS", that is my new motto.

So, a friend's father has passed away and we're at the store looking for sympathy cards. And Danae looks at a stack labeled "Religious Sympathy" and says, "Religious sympathy? Like, you send somebody a card that says 'I'm sorry that you're this religion'?"

COULD I HAVE SEVERAL DOZEN PRINTED UP, PLEASE. I HAVE A LIST OF PEOPLE TO SEND THEM TO.

Last night the kids watched Bad Wolf with me, but I sent them to bed before Parting of the Ways. This meant that I packed them off to bed screaming in protest and demanding to sleep together because of the Daleks that they were positive would be in the closets and under the beds ( Read more... )

Last night Delenn climbed into our bed, tearfully (and loudly) proclaiming that the monsters were coming to get her, and nothing I said could convince her otherwise.
